  1. Measure and Grind
Measure and grind 15g or 2 Tablespoons of coffee. Grind the coffee about as fine as table salt.
  2. Prep the AeroPress
Get the AeroPress ready to brew by placing the filter in the basket. Affix the basket to the bottom of the brew chamber and place it on top of the mug.
  3. Add coffee
Add 15g or 2 tablespoons of coffee. Then, remove the funnel.
  4. Add water
Fill the AeroPress with 250mL of hot water (approximately 1cm from the top) as fast as possible, making sure all the coffee is saturated. Turn the AeroPress to make sure the grind is wet.
  5. Place plunger and wait
Place the plunger on the brew chamber and push, then pull slightly to create a pressure seal. Don’t plunge yet!
  6. Stir and plunge
Wait for 2 minutes, swirl the AeroPress around to break up the grind, let it settle to the bottom, then gently press down with slow and steady pressure, no need to push hard. Push until all water is out (you should hear a hiss when there’s no water left).
  7. Serve, clean and enjoy
The AeroPress is easy to clean. Simply take off the basket and pop out the coffee grounds and filter. Clean the rubber plunger with hot water and you’re ready for your next brew.
